  • Is there smoking in or around your home or sewing studio?
There is ZERO smoking allowed anywhere near my materials & products OR in my home in general. I quit smoking many years ago & now abhore the very odor. As a matter of fact, I usually get told through feedback how good my items smell.
  • Do you own pets?
Absolutely! I have 3 Boston Terriers & 1 cat. They are not allowed near my products or materials & I have an isolated creative space. Great care goes into protecting my materials & finished products from purchase of products to end results. That doesn't mean I won't do a brag or a share from time to time on the blog.
  • Do you accept Custom Request/Orders?
Absolutely! As a matter of fact, 50% or more of my business is for clients with custom request & I'm able to give each client a fairly quick (less than 7 days, 10 if i'm ordering fabric from across the country) turnaround time. I have been blessed with exceptionally great clients who I love working with on special projects. I bill my custom orders through paypal using your email address. I keep you up to date with the progress & pictures if you so desire along the way.
  • Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely! I request your postal code & then I charge your exact shipping cost. I am not responsible for any tariffs, taxes or extra fees on your end. I simply charge shipping cost. I welcome international sales & have done a great many of them. THANK YOU!
  • Your items smell GREAT!  What is your secret?
I wash my items in ARM & HAMMER SKIN SENSITIVE detergent on the appropriate water temperature and cycle settings. For skin sensitive baby items I use DREFT or Woolite depending on the fiber content & requirements. I rinse twice to remove any and all soap residue. I then use either SNUGGLE LAVENDER SCENT or DOWNY APRIL FRESH SCENT fabric softener.
  • How long have you been sewing?
I have been sewing since I was 16 years young. I am now, well, it's been a very long time. I try to always learn something new or a new way of doing something I already know. Years don't matter near as much as technique & quality. But, four plus decades into this craft & I'm pretty comfortable around a sewing machine.
